Darby Walton, a third-generation auctioneer hailing from Sycamore, Ohio, embodies a deep-rooted passion for the agricultural industry. Born into a family steeped in auctioneering tradition, Darby’s journey into the world of auctions began at a tender age, running clerk tickets for his father, Doug, and grandfather, Jay. Both esteemed members of the Ohio Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame, Doug and Jay instilled in Darby a profound appreciation for the art of auctioneering.

Edward J. “Ed” McNamara

Edward J. “Ed” McNamara

In the 1950s, Ed founded what was later to be known as the Farmers Implement Company at Bloomington. In 1960, he sold his interest in Farmers Implement Company and moved to Lancaster, where he then founded E.J. McNamara Real Estate & Auction Service. He retired after 42 years as an auctioneer and real estate broker. Ed served as the president of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 1974.

John H. Paffel

John H. Paffel

For many years John owned and operated a purebred holstein dairy farm in Comstock. Along with farming, John graduated from Reisch American School of Auctioneering in 1949 and was a well-known auctioneer in northern Wisconsin, until his retirement in 2006.

Bobby O’Neal is the owner of O’Neals Auctioneering & Appraisals.  He began his Auction career in 1988 graduating from the Missouri Auction School which is known as the Harvard School of Auctioneering in St. Louis, MO.

Jay Clarke

Jay Clarke

Jay was a graduate of the Mason City College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. He owned Clarke & Associates, where he did appraisals, auctions and sold real estate. Jay was a member of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association, a registered Wisconsin Auctioneer, inducted in the Wisconsin Auctioneers Hall of Fame, a member of the National Realtors Association and Wisconsin Realtors Association. He was also a Wisconsin Certified Residential Appraiser.

Carol has over 25 years of experience as a professional auctioneer. She is the Past President of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association, the first woman to win the Wisconsin State Auctioneers Championship and finished in the Top 7 Nationally in the International Auctioneers Competition.

Laura Mantle-Grunden, CAI, CAS

Laura became a licensed auctioneer at age 19 after 7 years of working auction setup and as a clerk and cashier around the state of Ohio. A graduate of The Ohio Auction School, she assists in over 200 auctions a year conducting benefit auctions, selling real estate at auction, working 3 auto auctions per week as well as serving as a contract auctioneer around the country
